West Jordan police were investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian crash.

A 65-year-old man was struck by an eastbound car near 2400 W. 7800 South, about 7 p.m. Thursday, said West Jordan police Officer Ian Adams. The man was taken to the hospital, but later died, Adams said.

Police want to notify his family before identifying him.

Investigators were still looking into the crash, Adams said.
