New campaign finance reports show Republican Attorney General Sean Reyes continues to lead his Democratic opponent in fundraising.

Reports filed Tuesday show Reyes collected $104,000 from Aug. 29 through Oct. 23. He spent $106,000, leaving him with about $110,000.

Democrat Charles Stormont raised $65,000 during that same time and spent just under $100,000. He has about $17,000 left over.

Both candidates are running to serve the last two years of embattled Republican John Swallow's term.

Reyes has served as attorney general since Swallow resigned last year.

Stormont is a lawyer who works in the civil division of the attorney general's office.

Tuesday's filings are the final fundraising reports to come out before the Nov. 4 election.
