After a couple warmer days, sweater weather is back for a blustery, chilly start to the week.

A cold front arrived along the northern Wasatch Front just after midnight Sunday, before arriving in the Salt Lake City area about 2 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The front is expected to bring gusty winds and a chance of precipitation, with snow levels dropping to about 7,500 feet across northern Utah by late Sunday, and near 5,000 feet overnight across the northernmost end of the state.

Salt Lake City can expect a high on Sunday of about 60 degrees, with an overnight low of 38. Monday is even colder, with a high of only 52. A hard freeze is even possible on Tuesday morning for the northern Wasatch Front, west central Utah and the western Uinta Basin, according to the weather service.

A sunny St. George, meanwhile, will likewise cool from a high of 80 on Sunday to 73 on Monday.

The chillier air is healthy to breathe, though. The Utah Division of Air Quality predicts healthy air statewide Sunday into Monday.
