The Idaho State Patrol says it arrested a Utah man for alleged heroin trafficking during a traffic stop in Bannock County.

The 37-year-old Salt Lake City man, the subject of an ongoing ISP narcotics investigation, was pulled over on U.S. Highway 91 near Siphon Road on Thursday.

ISP said they seized 15 grams of heroin when they arrested the suspect.

He was booked into the Bannock County jail, where he remained Friday on suspicion of multiple felony counts of trafficking and delivering heroin, charges that were enhanced because the man allegedly made drug deals in the presence of a minor child.

No further details were released.
