Updated: 11:22 AM- The mother of a 19-year-old Roy man killed in Iraq says her son was determined to join the Army after he graduated from high school last year.

Dan Dolan died Sunday in Baghdad when the armored personnel carrier he was driving came under attack. He had been in Iraq only a month, says his mother, Fay Dolan of Roy.
