The East Mill Creek Community council is hosting an "Evening in the Park" today at Evergreen Park, 2230 E. Evergreen. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free and begins with Ben Johnson, followed by the Matt Larson Quintet playing big-band music.
At dusk a free movie, "The Movie Man," will be shown on a jumbo screen. Food vendors will be on hand and the public is invited to bring blankets or low-back chairs
