Two noted photographers will share tips, stories and — naturally — stunning photographs during a Wasatch Camera Club event titled PhotoOp 17 on Saturday.

Internationally recognized photographer Adam Jones is the morning presenter. He his known for his nature, travel and wildlife images as well as photos for advertising campaigns for clients such as Canon, Ford, Eddie Bauer, Miller Beer and Honda. His work has appeared in National Geographic Books, Time, Life, Audubon, National Wildlife Federation, Disney and many textbooks.

Jones will speak on "Getting the Most Out of Digital Photography."

Adam Barker, raised in Utah, will also speak. He is known for landscape and active lifestyle imagery that has been featured in Outside, Men's Journal, Outdoor Photographer, Skiing, Ski, Powder, Fly Fish Journal and others.

Barker's presentation is "Connectivity: Capturing Images That Connect With Viewers."

"Utah is a haven for landscape and wildlife photographers, and PhotoOp 17 offers not only a way to refresh one's skills, but to meet other like-minded photographers who are preparing new trips into the field," Keith Hill, Wasatch Camera Club president, said in a statement.

PhotoOp 17 takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake Community College Miller Campus, 9750 S. 300 West in Sandy.
