You don't need to be an Olympian to enjoy Utah's Olympic Park.

The Park City center that hosted bobsled, luge and ski jumping in 2002 is again open to the public for winter activities.

That means riding on the Comet Bobsled, using an adventure course or visiting the free museums.

Through May 25, gold passes are available Tuesday to Sunday. These include unlimited day use of the Canyon Course, Summit Course and Drop Tower but exclude bobsled rides, guided tours and Go Pro rentals. They cost $45 for adults and $30 for youth 12 and younger.

Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. through March 31. Starting April 1 and running to May 25, adventure activities will be open 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

As for bobsled rides, they are piloted by a professional driver and accommodate three passengers. As thrilling as any roller coaster, riders go through nine turns at speeds up to 60 mph. Riding is available until April 2. Participants must be 16 or older, weigh at least 100 pounds and meet all health requirements.

The Alf Engen Ski Museum and Eccles 2002 Olympic Winter Game Museum are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. Guided tours are offered daily at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The park also offers a retail shop and cafe that is open for lunch and coffee.
