Is it a coincidence or are some U.S. citizens really so upset with the election that they are actually considering a move?

TripAdvisor, a travel planning and booking site, released the 10 international destinations with the greatest hotel booking activity on November 9, the day after the U.S. election.

The top two?

Mexico and Canada.

They were followed by the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, France, India and Thailand.

The top 10 international cities booked by U.S. travelers were Dubai, London, Paris, Cabo San Lucas, Rome, San Juan, Punta Cana, Puerto Vallarta, Toronto and Bangkok.

"After this long and intense election, travelers were out in full force researching and booking on TripAdvisor after placing their votes," said Brooke Ferencsik, senior director of communications for TripAdvisor.
