The deadline for public input on how traffic congestion can be managed at Arches and Canyonlands National Parks is November 12.

A traffic congestion management plan for the two parks is in the works with the goal of helping improve the visitor experience by reducing parking congestion and related crowding in the parks.

These alternatives describe ways park management might address issues of congestion, limited parking and resource impacts in both parks while allowing the park service to prepare for future changes in visitation and funding.

No preferred alternative has been named as of yet.
