Drinkers dressed in costume readied at 400 S. West Temple in Salt Lake City on Saturday before darting off in the annual race.

It's the 10th year of the Urban Chariot Pub Crawl, though in its early years it was known as the Urban Iditarod. As an homage to the sled dog race in Alaska, participants decorate shopping carts and themselves in themes and run to bars in and around downtown Salt Lake City.

The bars are not announced in advance.
