The Utah Aglow ministry has landed Christian author, teacher and musician Terry Tripp as featured speaker for its annual spring retreat.

Utah Aglow President Toni McMurtrey said this year's "Come Let Us Adore Him" event, beginning Friday at 7 p.m. and running through noon Sunday, will be held at Salt Lake City's DoubleTree Suites, 110 E. 600 South.

Tripp is the son of LaVerne and Edith Tripp, and grew up singing with his family on television and radio programs stretching over 25 years. Today, he hosts the motivational "Empower Minute" on numerous faith broadcast outlets.

The retreat, including a Saturday banquet but not hotel reservations, costs $75, while individual sessions are $15. Advance reservations are required.
