On Friday night, Jewish adherents across Utah and around the world sat down to a ritual meal — a Passover seder — that has been celebrated for centuries.

During this feast, guests retell the story of the Israelites' liberation from Egyptian slavery and of God's law given to Moses on Mount Sinai.

"Seder" means order in Hebrew.
