''Law & Order: SVU's'' Mariska Hargitay and ''Two and a Half Men'' stars Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen also will present at the 57th annual awards, which will air Sept. 18 on CBS.
Four of the first six presenters - Sheen and Cryer are the exceptions - also are nominees this year. Berry and Stewart are up for two awards each. Berry's nominations are for outstanding actress in a movie or miniseries for ''Their Eyes Were Watching God'' and as a producer of best TV movie nominee ''Lackawanna Blues.''
Stewart is up for individual performance in a variety or music program, where he'll face off with ''Tonight Show'' host Jay Leno, Tony Awards host Hugh Jackman, and Whoopi Goldberg and Tracey Ullman, both of whom had HBO specials last season. He is also nominated as part of ''The Daily Show's'' writing staff.
Sutherland earned his fourth-straight nomination for playing terrorist-hunting Jack Bauer on ''24,'' which is also up for best drama series. Hargitay bagged her second straight nod for ''SVU.''
Earlier this week, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences scrapped a plan to pre-tape acceptance speeches for nominees in the writing and directing categories. The move was intended to save time in the telecast, but faced with the cost of taping 20-plus speeches and lingering resentment by some in the writing and directing communities, the academy decided to allow the winners to speak live.
