Creators 14 and younger are encouraged to apply for space at Craft Lake City's 2017 DIY Festival in August.

Those selected can sell their work in the new Kid Row section of the festival, which will be open on Saturday, Aug. 12, from noon–4 p.m.

The three-day festival takes place at the Gallivan Center, 239 S. Main St., Salt Lake City, Aug. 11-13.

Participants need to apply online and pay a $10 fee. Those accepted will pay a $25 fee for 3-by-3-foot table space.

Kid Row applications are due Wednesday, May 17, at 11:59 p.m. at craftlakecity.com/kid-row.

"We are so excited to include youth artisans in our kids' area at this year's festival," says Rachel Hayes, Craft Lake City kids area manager. "I am looking forward to seeing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that abounds in even the youngest crafters in our community."
