$6 • When owners Pete and Heidi Cannella were planning their wedding, the couple had their minds set on a pistachio lemon layer cake for the celebration. After interviewing several local bakers without success, they met with Martin Perham, owner of Martin's Fine Desserts, who saw their vision and created a pistachio cake layered with lemon mousse, fresh raspberries, butter cream, marzipan and a lemon glaze. A month after the wedding, when the Cannellas opened Fratelli Ristorante, they made sure "The Cake," as it's called, was on the menu.
