A Delta teenager died early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle rollover, police said.

Investigators believe 16-year-old Michael LeFever was headed home from watching the Jazz basketball game with friends in Oak City, said Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Steve Winward.

His 1994 Acura Integra drifted off the right side of State Road 125 about 12:30 a.m. and rolled.

LeFever was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, Winward said. He suffered fatal injures and died at the scene.

Troopers have ruled out alcohol and drugs as factors in the crash, and do not believe LeFever was speeding.

LeFever "just drifted off the road," Winward said.
