The Salt Lake City police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred early Sunday near 600 North and 1300 West.

Police say the shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. when someone in a car drove by and fired more than six bullets into a home.

A family was inside but no one was injured, police said.

Police did not have a description of the car.
