A man arrested in the stabbing death of his wife Friday in Salt Lake City later threatened to kill another person after he fled to his sister's home and grabbed a second knife, police said.

According to Daniel Olivera's sister, Olivera showed up at her home about 6 a.m. after jail booking documents state he allegedly stabbed Lisa Olivera, 32, to death.

The name of the person Olivera told his sister he was going to kill was excluded from the booking document when it was released to The Salt Lake Tribune .

But Olivera's sister told police her brother was covered in blood when he showed up at her house, admitted to stabbing his wife, threatened to kill the other person and wanted to know where he was hiding. He then grabbed another knife before his sister and children left the home.

Lisa Olivera was found by her 10-year-old child and a roommate about 4:45 a.m. Friday after they heard her arguing with her husband, said Salt Lake City police Sgt. Robin Snyder and booking documents. Though they were estranged, Daniel Olivera was staying with her on the 2300 South block of Green Street (640 East).

It's not clear what started Friday's argument. An infant was also in the home when the fight began.

According to booking documents, Lisa Olivera's 10-year-old child found his mother stabbed to death on the kitchen table, and another person who lived at the home called police.

his clothes at his sister's home to escape police, Snyder said. About five hours after the stabbing, someone near 1300 South and 1200 West reported that he was in the area. Officers found him on bicycle behind an LDS Church ward house. He was arrested without incident, Snyder said. The weapon was not recovered.
