Two women suffered minor injuries in a Tuesday morning rollover accident in Salt Lake City.
Just after 11 a.m., a 19-year-old woman was driving her red Audi northbound on 400 West. Salt Lake City Detective Dennis McGowan said that woman ran a red light at the intersection of 300 South and struck a Hyundai SUV that was heading southbound on 400 West.
A 53-year-old woman driving that SUV was taken to a local hospital in fair condition with a chest injury, likely from her seat belt, McGowan said. She was shaken up but not seriously injured, he said.
The 19-year-old driver of the Audi was bleeding from her hand but was not taken to the hospital. She was cited for running a red light, McGowan said.
