A man stole the wallet of a woman walking out of a convenience store with her arms full of groceries Monday afternoon.

The man approached the woman to ask about a bus schedule as she walked out of Maverik at 2650 S. Main Street. Suddenly, the man pushed her, grabbed her wallet and jumped into a waiting vehicle. The victim's wallet contained personal ID and cash.

The suspect was in his 20s with blond hair and wore a T-shirt. He jumped into a white or silver older compact car, possibly a Honda driven by another male in his 20s. The vehicle had damage to its right rear fender.

If anyone has seen the suspects or their vehicle, police ask them to contact South Salt Lake Police at (801) 840-4000.
