A man was hospitalized Thursday night after he bumped into another man at a gas station, got into a fight and was slashed with a knife.
The injured man did not suffer serious injuries, said West Jordan police officer Dan Roberts.
The fight occurred about 7 p.m. when the man entered a Chevron gas station near 4400 West Bingham Highway (8000 South) and bumped into another man standing at the soda fountain, Roberts said.
The men began yelling and then hitting each other. The man at the soda fountain then pulled out a knife and slashed the other man across the chest.
Both were taken to hospitals for their injuries. No arrests have been made yet, Roberts said.
