A 28-year-old Orem man was arrested Tuesday after his mother asked him to stop yelling at the television, police said.

He responded by threatening his mother, said Orem police Lt. Gary Downey. When he moved toward her as if he was going to hit her, the man's 21-year-old brother intervened. He hit his brother a couple of times, and then a 15-year-old brother stepped in and he was assaulted as well.

Police arrived at the home, located on the 400 West block of 1100 North, about 1 p.m. Officers arrested the 28-year-old on suspicion of two counts of domestic violence. The brothers were not seriously injured.
