A woman was hit by a truck while crossing North Temple near 800 West on Tuesday, police said.

She was not on a crosswalk when she was hit by a large pickup truck about 8 p.m., said Sgt. Robin Snyder. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition but is expected to make a full recovery.

Her age and hometown were not immediately available.
