A four-car accident caused delays for commuters on northbound Interstate 15 near 5200 South Thursday morning.
The crash happened about 8:30 a.m., when traffic came to a full stop, said Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden.
A minivan following too closely swerved to avoid the car in front of it and hit a Toyota pickup. The Toyota rear-ended a large dual-tire Dodge pickup, and it hit a Honda CR-V. The minivan, meanwhile, caught on fire and its engine compartment burned.
No one was hurt in the crash. Emergency crews closed two left-hand lanes for cleanup, but the crash was cleared by 10 a.m.
