A woman was held by the throat while several other people beat her, according to charges filed Monday.
In court documents, police wrote that a man held the woman while four to seven women beat her with their fists and shoes on May 10 near State Street and 200 South. Police used Myspace.com to identify four of the suspects.
Three women, ages 44, 25 and 18, and a man, 23, were charged with third-degree felony assault.
