A West Bountiful woman has been arrested on suspicion of driving a car during a robbery and kidnapping.
The 33-year-old woman and two men met with the victim near 1300 South and Main Street in Salt Lake City to talk about the sale of car on June 1, said Detective Dennis McGowan. They disagreed about the price. One of the men brandished a handgun and forced the victim into the car about 7 p.m.
The two men beat the victim and took his wallet and keys when he tried to escape, according to a jail booking statement. Some time later, they dropped him off in Emigration Canyon. He was not seriously injured. He later identified the woman to police. She was booked on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping and robbery.
