Salt Lake City police seized nearly 7 pounds of marijuana at the Intermodal Hub train and bus station early Wednesday morning.

About 4:15 a.m., police were called to the station at 300 S. 600 West because a 40-year-old man was intoxicated and causing problems, said Detective Dennis McGowan. He had already been removed from a bus. Officers took the man into custody, and when they searched his duffle bag they found the drugs. He was booked into the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of public intoxication and possession of marijuana.
