Quick thinking on an employee's part, and a would-be robber's hesitation, foiled an attempted robbery at Beehive Credit Union at 2072 S. 2200 East in Salt Lake City on Thursday.
A woman noticed a man pacing near the front door, then drew more attention when he pulled a beanie over his forehead and a bandanna over his lower face. When he tried to open the inside doors, he found them magnetically locked. Realizing he was unable to enter, he left.
The man is described as white with sandy-colored hair. He was wearing green medical scrubs and white tennis shoes, and was carrying a black bag over his shoulder.
