A man was hurt in a drive-by shooting in Salt Lake City late Saturday night, police said.

About 11 p.m., the approximately 20-year-old man got into a verbal argument with someone in a car on the 500 North block of Dexter Street (840 West), said Salt Lake City police Lt. Cal Kunz. Someone in the car shot him in the leg and he ran to the back of a nearby house. His friends took him to LDS Hospital in stable condition. Police have no information about the suspects or the car, but detectives are investigating the shooting.
