For the second time in two weeks, robbers beat a man, stealing his wallet and shoes.

The latest incident occurred Saturday about 7:35 p.m. when three men in a white or gray 4-door-sedan pulled up next to a man near 700 South and 300 East and attacked him, police reported. They took his wallet and shoes.

The injured man was taken to the hospital and listed in good condition. He told police a woman was driving the car.

A similar incident occurred last Monday about 12:20 a.m. when two men allegedly kidnapped, beat and robbed another man.

It started near 221 South and 400 West when two men with guns ordered the victim into their car, police reported.

They drove to 2000 North and Warm Springs Road where they assaulted the man, took his phone, shoes and wallet and pushed him out of the car, police reported.

The man walked to nearby Interstate 15 and flagged a Utah Highway Patrol trooper.

In that case, police are looking for the two men who were driving a brown, late-model sedan.
