A 14-year-old boy was arrested Friday night in Kearns for stabbing another 14-year-old boy in the back during a fight.
The injured teen was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray in serious condition, said Salt Lake County sheriff's Lt. Don Hutson.
Deputies arrested the other teen.
The stabbing was reported near 5500 South and Sarah Jane Drive (5200 West), but Hutson said the boy was injured several blocks from that locations.
No other details were available Friday night.
