Two teens are accused of stealing 59 bars of silver from their aunt's home in Millcreek. The silver was worth more than $81,000, according to charges filed Monday. A neighbor spotted the teens, 18 and 19, going into their aunt's house in the 4700 South block of S. Bonner Circle (1265 East) in February and leaving with bags. She recorded their license plate number and alerted Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies. One of the teens had 29 bars of silver in his car; the other had placed 5 in his car and 25 in an empty field, deputies wrote. Each teen is charged with burglary theft, both second-degree felonies.
