Hibbert previously worked out individually for the Jazz on June 4, while Sloan was away at his farm in McLeansboro, Ill. Serge Ibaka, a 6-foot-10 power forward from Congo who played in Spain, and French center Alexis Ajinca also will work out today.
The Jazz own the No. 23 pick in the first round, in addition to two second-round picks. They have the No. 44 pick, formerly belonging to Philadelphia, as well as their own pick at No. 53.
With 13 players already with guaranteed contracts, Jazz vice president of player personnel Walt Perrin said the team was still weighing its options as far as what to do with the second-round picks.
Perrin said the Jazz could draft an international player who would stay overseas or an American player who would be willing to play overseas for a season with the Jazz retaining his rights. They also could trade one or both picks.
Ibaka and Ajinca also could play in Europe for another season as first-round picks. Hibbert, meanwhile, recently has worked out for New Jersey, Toronto and Cleveland, all teams selecting ahead of the Jazz in the first round.
Brewer's advice
Arkansas forward Darian Townes worked out for the Jazz on Saturday and said he knew a little bit about the team from his former Razorbacks teammate Ronnie Brewer.
"That you've got to work real hard," Townes said. "It's kind of hard for a rookie playing for Coach Sloan because he really don't like rookies. That's what Ronnie was telling me. But he got used to it and it turned out great for him."
Briefly
The Jazz are not expected to hold a draft party this year at EnergySolutions Arena. . . . Deron Williams was at the practice facility Saturday working out with two personal trainers.
