NBA: Almond, Fesenko in D-League All-Star Game

Posted: 1:41 PM- NEW YORK -- Utah Jazz draft picks Morris Almond and Kyrylo Fesenko have been selected to play in the NBA Developmental League All-Star Game on Feb. 16 in New Orleans.

The game will be part of the NBA's All-Star Weekend.

Almond was the Jazz's first-round pick in the 2007 draft. Fesenko was picked in the second round by Philadelphia, which immediately traded his rights to Utah.

Almond leads the D-League in scoring (26.4). Fesenko averages 10.5 points, seven rebounds and ranks third in blocked shots (2.4).

In all, 13 players with NBA experience were selected to play in the All-Star Game after on-line voting by fans and balloting by the league's the 14 head coaches.

Other notable players selected to play in the game are Colorado's Eddie Gill, who attended Weber State; Idaho's Randy Livingston, who played briefly for the Jazz in 2004-05; Tulsa's Nick Fazekas, a former Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year from Nevada; and Idaho's Lance Allred, who played collegiately at Utah and Weber State.
