NBA and Jazz Friday update: AK, Price ready to return
Posted: 1:16 PM- Having won four of their last five games, the Jazz welcomed back injured forward Andrei Kirilenko and guard Ronnie Price to practice Friday.
Price was in uniform with what he described as a "five-layer" tape job on his sprained left ankle while Kirilenko was going to try to gauge the stiffness in his lower back.
Both went through practice and will be game-time decisions Saturday against Orlando. Kirilenko said his plan was to play while Price wanted to see how much his injured ankle would affect his quickness.
Forward Matt Harpring did not attend practice the morning after his wife gave birth to their second child, a daughter named Kate Eileen Harpring. He is expected to rejoin the team for shootaround Saturday and play against the Magic.
The Jazz had only 10 players in uniform for Thursday's victory over Phoenix. They will catch the Magic in the finale of a four-game trip (as well as the second game of a back-to-back set) and have preyed on teams in that situation all season.
In one of their rare road victories this season, the Jazz beat the Magic 113-94 on Dec. 21. Orlando will be sure not to overlook forward Paul Millsap, who scored a career-high 28 points in the game and took advantage of his matchup against Rashard Lewis.
