The Jazz cut three players from their preseason roster Wednesday, including second-round draft pick Goran Suton from Michigan State.
The 6-foot-10 forward joined free-agent forwards Spencer Nelson of Utah State and Alexander Johnson of Florida State in getting released, bringing the Jazz roster down to 16 players - including injured veteran Matt Harpring and free-agent forward Paul Harris.
The Jazz need to trim their roster to 15 players by the start of the season next week, but are likely to carry even fewer players than that, for flexibility reasons.
