CHARLOTTE -- The Charlotte Bobcats discovered the cure for their early season blues Friday night.

All they needed was a visit from the shorthanded Utah Jazz.

Raymond Felton scored 23 points, Gerald Wallace added 22 points and Adam Morrison had 13 of his 15 in the second half as the Bobcats defeated the Jazz, 104-96.

Charlotte entered the game as the lowest scoring team in the league, but the Bocats finished with a season-high point total against Utah, which lost for the second straight time and fell to 6-3 on the season.

The Jazz played without Deron Williams (ankle), Andrei Kirilenko (finger) and Memo Okur, who is still in Turkey with his critically ill father.

The Bobcats played without their Jason Richardson, their leading scorer who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery before the game.

Carlos Boozer led the Jazz with 26 points and 15 rebounds, but he played only 33 minutes because of foul trouble.
