Sloan's 1,000th win after nearly 20 years as head coach of the Jazz. Since taking over from Frank Layden on Dec. 9, 1988, Sloan's regular-season record in Utah improved 1,000-596.
The Jazz blew most of a 31-point lead in the second half, but Kyle Korver, Kirilenko and Boozer hit clutch shots and prevented the Thunder from getting any closer than the final seven-point margin.
Kevin Durant scored 24 for Oklahoma City, which slipped to 1-4 on the season. Jeff Green added 22.

Oklahoma City built a quick 8-0 lead and it was 10-3 before the Jazz exploded.
Ronnie Brewer scored seven points and Boozer added six during a 21-0 run as Utah built a 14-point lead.
Oklahoma City missed 14 of its final 16 shots in the first quarter and went scoreless for over seven minutes.
Conversely, the Jazz missed their first three shots and committed three turnovers in the first four minutes. But they made 11 of their final 14 field goal attempts and finished the quarter with a 29-15 lead.
It was 34-21 midway through the second quarter before Paul Millsap scored six straight points during a 13-2 burst that helped Utah build a 47-23 lead.
Eventually, the Jazz took a 58-29 halftime lead. Oklahoma City got as close as eight in the fourth quarter, but Utah held on and improved its record this season to 5-0.
