The so-called "Pajama Bottom" robber's alleged weekend bank robbery spree was both prolific and short-lived.

Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke confirmed that 40-year-old Nannette Louise Perkins — the prime suspect in at least six Salt Lake Valley robberies — was arrested Sunday evening at her Taylorsville home.

Lohrke said UPD and Salt Lake City police officers "working from a tip."

Perkins is suspected of having robbed or attempted to rob banks in West Valley City, Salt Lake City, Holladay and Sandy, Lohrke said.

Five of the robberies occurred within a two-hour period Saturday; a sixth holdup is alleged to have occurred Friday in West Valley City.

In each case, police said, Perkins passed a note to the tellers demanding money but did not display a weapon.

Police on Saturday had released photos of the suspect taken by bank surveillance cameras.

Perkins was being held Monday without bail in the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of multiple counts of second-degree felony robbery.

She earned her moniker for wearing plaid pajama bottoms in at least one of the robberies, during which she handed notes to tellers demanding cash.

This case is still being investigated by the joint members of the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, Lohrke said The task force is a partnership of agents from the FBI and detectives from state and local agencies.

This is not Perkins' first brush with the law. Court records show felony theft- and credit card fraud-related convictions in 2012 and 2013, as well as past misdemeanor assault and criminal trespassing convictions.
