Many travelers wonder if they can purchase travel insurance with pre-existing medical conditions. According to Jim Grace, president of InsureMyTrip.com, pre-existing medical condition waivers are available on many Trip Cancellation Package policies.
According to Grace, to be eligible for a pre-existing medical condition waiver, most travel insurance policies require travelers to purchase the policy within seven to 21 days of their initial trip deposit and insure for the full amount of your nonrefundable travel arrangements.
