Sacred Heart Catholic Church near downtown Salt Lake City celebrated its centennial Sunday, with a Mass of Thanksgiving led by Utah's Bishop Oscar A. Solis.
The new leader of Utah's 300,000-plus Catholics was joined at the 100th anniversary service by the parish's pastors. Clerics and congregants then attended a fiesta after the Mass.
