U.S. Soccer will be wearing its support for the LGBTQ community on its back next month.

Both the men's and women's national teams will mark LGBTQ Pride Month in June by wearing jerseys with a rainbow-flag pattern on the numbers, the soccer organization announced Friday. The jerseys will be worn at all friendlies during June.

The men's national team will introduce the look next Saturday, June 3, at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, during a friendly against Venezuela. The women's team will wear them on the road, in Sweden on June 8 and Norway on June 11.

The pride jerseys are an initiative between U.S. Soccer, the You Can Play Project, and the players associations of the men's and women's teams.

A set of game-issued jerseys from each team will be sold in an online charity auction. U.S. Soccer's online store also will sell customized jerseys, and a rainbow-lettered "One Nation. One Team." hat. Proceeds from all online sales will go to the You Can Play Project.
