• The annual Living Traditions Festival — highlighting the dance, music, crafts and food of the different nationalities that have created communities in Utah — runs this weekend at Library Square, 400 South and State Street, Salt Lake City. The event runs from 5 to 10 p.m. tonight, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free, but bring money for food and craft items.

The National Choreographic Festival, featuring Ballet West and other esteemed ballet companies, runs this weekend and next at the Eccles Theater, 131 S. Main St., Salt Lake City. Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday, and the same times next weekend. Tickets available at ArtSaltLake.
