South Salt Lake and the Yesco sign company on Tuesday replaced the 90-foot-tall bowling pin on State Street that for decades towered above the Ritz Classic bowling alley. The iconic sign, built in 1958, was taken apart and underwent a complete renovation before being returned to its longtime perch. It now will mark the entrance to the Ritz Classic Apartments, under construction at 2265 S. State.
