The FBI is looking for an unidentified bank robber who struck five times across the Salt Lake valley over the past two months.

In a wanted poster distributed Wednesday afternoon, FBI officials said the man robbed banks in Midvale, Salt Lake City and Draper between Feb. 8 and Tuesday.

The suspect, estimated to be in his 30s, is described as being a Cacausian about 6 feet tall, with a husky build, black hair and blue eyes. In the Feb. 8 robbery, he wore a camouflage hat and orange shirt, which were later found behind a dumpster.

After each robbery, the man reportedly fled to an unknown vehicle several blocks away.

The Feb. 8 robbery occurred at the Jordan Credit Union, 658 W. Center Street in Midvale. The man used a demand note.

A Feb. 23 robbery, also in Midvale, was at the Zions Bank at 159 W. Center Street. The man again showed a note, threatened to have a weapon, asked for money and told the employee "to remain calm," according to the FBI description.

The same suspect on March 1 robbed a Washington Federal at 2262 S. Highland Drive in Salt Lake City. He showed a note and threatened to have a gun.

On March 14, he robbed a U.S. Bank at 1575 S. Main Street, in Salt Lake City, again showing a note. On Tuesday he robbed the Zions Bank at 12271 S. 9000 East in Draper by showing a note.

The FBI asks those with information on the case to contact the Salt Lake City office at 801-579-1400.
