After their bruising election battle, and with some of his fans on the National Mall still chanting the campaign favorite "Lock her up!", President Donald Trump acknowledged Hillary Clinton on the inaugural stage Friday, asking an audience of Congress members and dignitaries to applaud her.

Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz was not so conciliatory.

He shook Clinton's hand and later posted the photo on Instagram stating that he is "so pleased she is not the president."

"I thanked her for her service and wished her luck," the Utah Republican wrote, adding "The investigation continues" — a nod to his long-running probe, as chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, of her use of private email servers as secretary of state.

So pleased she is not the President. I thanked her for her service and wished her luck. The investigation continues.

Chaffetz has in recent days taken heat for declining pressure from Democrats and others to investigate Trump's potential conflicts of interest over his complex business holdings. He has steadfastly refused, saying such a probe without actual evidence of wrongdoing would be an inappropriate "fishing expedition."
