Utah football is ranked at No. 19 in the final College Football Playoff rankings and No. 23 in the final regular season Coaches Poll following conference title game weekend.

Alabama topped the College Football Rankings, followed by Clemson, Ohio State and Washington.

The top four of both the Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 remained the same from last week, with Alabama on top followed by Ohio State, Clemson and Washington. Penn State moved up to No. 5 in all three lists after the Nittany Lion's Big Ten championship win over Wisconsin. Michigan was bumped to No. 6 in all three rankings.

USC is the next highest ranked Pac-12 team at No. 9 in all three lists, followed by Colorado (No. 10 in CFP, No. 11 in AP and Coaches), Stanford (No. 18 in CFP, No. 16 in AP and Coaches) and the Utes (No. 19 in CFP, No. 23 in Coaches).

Utah garnered 99 votes in the "others receiving votes" category of the AP Top 25.
