What an amazing news cycle and wholly ironic front page of the Tribune on Nov. 30.

Mitt Romney says Donald Trump "continues with a message of inclusion and bringing people together," while the adjacent article relates that attorneys are stepping up to help Muslims being harassed and bullied. Thank you to these lawyers, but I fail to see much active inclusion from the Trump camp. Apparently, away from Trump Tower, it's just the opposite; and there's clearly no real leadership from Romney, just that he dined on frog legs and chocolate cake.

Meanwhile, also on the front page, billionaire Gail Miller, among the wealthiest if not the wealthiest person in all of Utah, pitches an income tax increase for all. While the article adjacent to that, indicates Jon Huntsman may be our next senator, replacing Hatch.

Let us remember it was Gov. Huntsman who gave the Millers and the wealthy of Utah a $300 million yearly tax break, massively cutting school funding. Now the rich want everyone to help make up for what they pocketed. Is this what we could expect from a Sen. Huntsman?

So, hats off to Centro Civico Mexicano, which will get a new home, the remaining front page news.

Because, otherwise, the front page deftly papers over the cracks of shifting society's costs ever downward, pitting person against person while making sure to let us know who eats the good cake.
