A 3.2 magnitude earthquake rattled the eastern slope of the Oquirrh Mountains near Bluffdale Friday morning, but no injuries were reported.

"We had a couple people call in to say they felt a little something," a public safety dispatcher with the Bluffdale Police Department said. "But we've had no reports of damage or anything like that."

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations recorded the quake at 8:45 a.m. The mild temblor occurred at a depth of about 6.2 miles with an epicenter about 4 miles southwest of Bluffdale.

In addition to Bluffdale, vibrations from the event were reported being felt in Sandy, Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs, as well as Camp Williams.
